This shot is basically to show the fighting between the Caitlin and her BadArm. In the midst of that tug of war their grip slips and sends the stapler gun flying up off screen.

This shot is to introduce Cottier as a character for the first time. We see his scavenger habits and his inability to control his flight movements.

This shot continues to a close up of Cottier as we display his walk and the affliction he has for the fishbone he pulled out of the bin.
