Cottier
Cottier is one of the scavenger rodent species of pigbats in the area. They usually scavenge for leftovers in the bins and alleyways. They have an inability to stay in flight due to their heavy upper bodies. They have a strange facination with body parts and tend to have a quirky romantic affiliation with one. Cottier is no different.
Character Sheet
Cottier's height is decidedly short to give him a rodent sort of outlook. It is decided that he'd have wings on his butt as a play on humor in the animation on how he would fly butt first and hang upside down like a bat. The pig feature was added later on in relation to how the snouts of pigs and bats have their similiarities and the idea that it would blend well. His eyes are lop sided to give that impression of the craziness in him.
Dynamic Poses
Cottier's dynamic poses goes down the lines of how a kid would react to certain things. He's a lot more expressive as he is a crazy kind of creature.
Expression Sheet
Cottier is a devious playful creature and thats why his expressions are a lot more exaggerated compared to Caitlin's. His expressions are a lot more childlike.
Colour Swatches
These are cottier's colour swatches. We experimented a lot with weird quirky colour combinations with him as we figured he's be a weird creature, might as well let his skin say the same. The spots were decidedly put on him so that his skin tone didn't look too boring and it gives him a little bit more assymetry and detail when viewed from the back.
